Surrey County Council have commissioned this training for professionals working in the Surrey area. To sign up for this training, you need to complete the registration page and provide your name, job role and organisation you work for along with your work email address. You will then create a login account to the training portal where you can book onto the training and access any related information and resources. The information you supplied at registration may be shared with the commissioners of this training, Surrey County Council, and checks to confirm you work within the Surrey area may be undertaken.
Please check individual courses listed in the courses section for all information including course durations.
The training is divided into 3 parts:
- Pre-training materials, which are self-paced but need to be completed in advance of the first training session
- Training Sessions 1 and 2 are trainer led online via Microsoft Teams

Yes, you will receive a certificate once all sections of the training have been completed.
If you are no longer able to attend a session, we kindly ask you to email ssp@autismoxford.org.uk to advise us of this. Due to the demand for this training, we ask for as much notice as possible, to enable us to offer the space to another delegate.
No. If someone else wants to enroll on a course, they will need to do this separately.
Due to the demand for this training, we currently have a waiting list. For this reason, the sharing of links between colleagues for online training sessions is strictly prohibited.
Yes, you are encouraged to ask questions during the training. During session 1, there is time scheduled at the end for a Questions and Answers section where you can either add your questions in the chat during the session and these will be collated or ask your questions during the Questions and Answers section. During the Reflective training (session 2), this provides more opportunities to ask questions.
Yes, you can access the portal from mobile devices or tablets. However, we do ask that Microsoft Teams meetings are accessed via a computer or laptop to be able to access the Teams features such as polls, chat etc. We ask that you sign in using the email address in which you registered via the portal.
